Our Arrival in Spain: Granada & the Alhambra

Updated: Apr 22

We finally arrived in Spain! On Wednesday, March 2nd, we flew out of LAX, and after an eleven hour flight we landed in Madrid. From there we caught a flight to Granada. We decided to rest up a couple of days in Granada before traveling on to our final destination of Almuñécar. A friend of mine, Bruno, is a Chiropractor there. He recommended we stay in the Albaicín, which is the historical center of Granada, also where the Alhambra is located. We found a great hotel there, explored Granada, took a tour of the Alhambra, and Bruno took us out for tapas, "tapear," at several restaurants in the Albaicín.
